Who this is

This site is Aldrin’s booking studio at aaldrin.dev. It is used to book 1-on-1 sessions and workshops, send confirmations, and (for Aldrin) sync confirmed sessions to Google Calendar.

Information students provide

When you book, we store what you submit:

• Name and email (required)
• Phone number, software, experience, and notes (optional)
• The session you chose, time, timezone, and a manage link

If you later cancel, reschedule, or leave a testimonial, we keep that with the booking so the studio can run the calendar.

How that information is used

Student information is used only to:

• Create and manage the booking
• Email confirmation, reschedule, and cancellation notices, including a calendar invite
• Add the session to Aldrin’s Google Calendar and, when used, send a Google invite
• Share a meeting link for the session
• Notify Aldrin of new, moved, or cancelled bookings

We do not sell personal information or use it for ads.

Google user data (studio calendar)

Students do not sign in with Google. Only Aldrin connects a Google account, from studio settings, so confirmed sessions can be written to that calendar.

With that connection, this site requests:

• calendar.events — create, update, and remove session events on the connected calendar, including guests and Meet links when needed
• userinfo.email and OpenID — so the studio can show which Google account is connected

Google Calendar data is used only to keep Aldrin’s teaching calendar in sync with bookings on this site. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not transferred to other apps except as needed to run the booking (for example, storing event IDs in our database).

Aldrin’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The Google connection can be disconnected at any time from studio settings. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions.

Email, hosting, and processors

• Email is sent with Resend.
• The app is hosted on Vercel.
• Booking data is stored in Supabase.

These providers process data only to deliver this service. They are not given Google Calendar access except through the OAuth connection Aldrin authorizes.

Cookies and sign-in

The public booking pages do not require an account. Studio sign-in uses session cookies (and optionally a passkey). Connecting Google Calendar sets a short-lived cookie to protect the OAuth redirect. Push notifications, if enabled, are for the studio device only.

How long we keep data

Bookings are kept so the studio can run the calendar, follow up, and keep a record of sessions. You can ask for a booking to be updated or deleted by emailing studio@aaldrin.dev. Some records may be retained if needed for the session itself or a legitimate studio record.

Your choices

Use the manage link in your confirmation email to view, reschedule, or cancel when policy allows. For access or deletion requests, email studio@aaldrin.dev.

Children

This site is meant for people who can book a paid learning session. It is not directed at children under 13. If a booking was made for a minor, a parent or guardian should make it and may contact us about that information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after that date means the updated policy applies.
